We are a charitable organisation founded with a mission to give back to the community. Inspired by the teachings and compassion of Pope Kyrillos VI, we strive to improve the quality of life for those in need, both in Egypt and beyond, regardless of their background, faith, or circumstances.

For 20 years, St. Mary & Abo Sefein Hospital has provided affordable or free medical care to the poor in Hagana and surrounding areas. As the hospital became crowded, there was a clear need for expansion to accommodate more specialised clinics, increase daily operations, and support the incubator unit. Thank God, the hospital acquired a building adjacent to the original hospital. With the help of the Pope Kyrillos Foundation, we completed the interior finishing and are now working on acquiring furniture and medical devices. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Maged Zaki, a generous and visionary supporter of Shepherd of Egypt. In April 2023, Mr. Zaki donated AUD 157,500, enabling us to purchase and fully equip a state-of-the-art mobile clinic named Little Zak’s, after his kindergarten. This clinic travels to underprivileged areas across Egypt, delivering lifesaving healthcare to the most vulnerable communities. In May 2024, Mr. Zaki made an additional contribution of AUD 75,000, allowing Shepherd of Egypt to acquire another mobile clinic, which is expected to begin serving communities by the end of February 2025.
